Cirencester Town Council – Peer Challenge Invitation

This is an open invite to organisations and consultants who are able to support us in carrying out a peer challenge in September 2022; last year, Cirencester Town Council published a two-year strategy as a foundation and framework for preparing a longer-term strategy ahead of the next local election in May 2023. Our current strategic priorities, whilst being mindful of the impact of COVID and the climate emergency, recognise the things which the Council has previously committed to deliver, facilitate, scrutinise and/or be an advocate for.

The peer challenge will be a crucial mid-point benchmark on progress.

In addition, we want the peer challenge to assist us in preparing the longer term strategy, with more focus on the internal aspects of the organisation, through which we will:

• build on our local council award scheme accreditation, Gold Award pending;

• deliver organisational improvement and development;

• focus on service;

• be policy, project and partnership driven.

We would welcome ‘Expressions of Interest’ on/before end of February 2022, with a full proposal being submitted on/before the end of April 2022.
