Cirencester Neighbourhood Plan – December Event

The Steering Group would like to say a heartfelt thanks to all who recently commented on the Draft Vision Statement, Aims & Objectives and Emerging Policy Areas for Cirencester, set out in the Progress Report we shared in the Summer.

Having consolidated the feedback with the body of work already undertaken, the next step, with the help of our consultant, Feria Urbanism, is to run a public engagement event across three days in early December. At the event there will be a range of interactive opportunities and a poster exhibition. The team is keen to engage with everyone from the local community and particularly younger people – children, teenagers, and young adults. Specific tasks and games will be in place over the three days with these groups in mind.

We are delighted to announce that the event will take place at the award winning Corinium Museum in Park Street on Thursday 2nd 12noon-9pm, Friday 3rd 10am-4pm and Saturday 4th 10am-1pm, December 2021, near to the hustle and bustle of Black Jack Street and town centre.

You are invited to drop in for as little or as long as you like, to see and comment on how the proposed plan for Cirencester is coming together, for the town as a whole and for the areas in which you live or spend your time.

Keep a look out for further details here on our website, via social media and on posters around town. We look forward to seeing you then!
