Council Meeting Update - Budget Estimates and Medium Term Financial Plan 2021-22

Following public consultation, with 56% of respondents saying yes to a 2.5% increase on day to day expenditure, the Council approved a budget which will see the level of community support and services continue in 2021-22; the budget directly meets a wide range of needs and supports the social, economic and environmental well-being of the town. The Town Council is acutely aware of the impact COVID has had and its medium term financial planning aims, in financially challenging times, to continue to provide much needed support and services alongside minimising the increase in council tax over the next four years.
